The Feather Crochet Stitch is a perfect basic stitch for every single crocheter to learn. Due to the stitch being exactly the same on both sides, blankets, scarves and dishcloths work exceptionally well.

A very important stitch that is incorporated in this project is the Foundation Half Double Chainless stitch. Other than that, this stitch is easy and fast!

Depending on which colors you use, the variations are endless. You can use this beautiful crochet stitch for so many things including blankets, washcloths, scarves and more.

What You Can Make Using The Feather Stitch

Aside from making beautiful infinity or simple scarves using the gorgeous color-repeating patterns of the crochet feather stitch. You can also make shawls, hats, blankets, and slippers. One of the yarns you choose to incorporate into your feather stitch hat or blanket can be glittered yarn!

If you are a beginner to this stitch or to the art of crochet, consider buying variegated yarn for your projects so you can focus more on working out the stitch instead of changing colors.

This stitch is so fluffy and soft that it would make a perfect blankie toy or baby blanket gift for a wedding shower or first birthday. You could also make an elegant and warm shawl with this crochet feather pattern for a sister, a friend, a grandmother or any amazing lady in your life.
